Introduction
Genetic Life is based on the Tierra Simulator concept. I have created a portable virtual operating system in which 'Creatures' exist in a memory 'Soup' executing a compact instruction set. The Tierran features of Soup & Instruction mutation and the Reaper are implemented, as is the 'address by template' concept. I have also included the concepts of temperature and mass extinction as a means to control population. Más info.
